This week she came out with an explanation of the deeper meaning behind the sport of Quidditch.
Big Harry Potter fans will know that Quidditch has something of an unusual scoring system - teams get 10 points for scoring a goal with the red Quaffle but if the Seeker catches the Golden Snitch they end the game and score 150 points for their team - meaning they almost always win. Many fans have questioned the logic of this system over the years, as in some ways it seems to render the job of the Chasers - who aim to score with the Quaffle - somewhat futile.
However, when one such fan questioned J.K. Rowling about this on Twitter she had the perfect response that explains exactly why Quidditch is scored the way it is.
Check out the video above for J.K.'s incredible explanation... and prepare to have your mind blown!
