The video was recorded at Washington-Dulles International Airport on January 1 of this year. Everything seems to indicate that this little girl threw a huge tantrum that forced her father to have to drag her around the airport.

Unfortunately, family holidays don't always go the way we'd like them to. The tension from being in airports, flight schedules, the pressure to have a good time... all this makes these festivities somewhat of a ticking time bomb.
And it is evident that this father's bomb exploded. The determination with which he drags the girl to the boarding gate suggests that we are probably witnessing a case of 'desperate situations calling for desperate measures'.
Before you shake your head in disapproval, notice the girl isn't at all hurt by this improvised transportation system. The father is pulling on the hood and the girl's coat is sliding on the floor.
No harm done here, although they will probably have to wash the coat when they get home.
