She had the very bad idea to take inspiration from her favourite rapper. Aleksandra Sadowska, a 25-year-old Polish influencer, has lost sight in her right eye and has irreversible damage to her left eye after getting a tattoo on the whites of her eyes, reports TheDaily Mail.

Originally, the young woman wanted to pay tribute to Popek, a Polish rapper and MMA fighter, one of whose (many) peculiarities is to have had the white of his eyes tattooed. But things didn't quite go quite as planned for the young woman.
Irreversible consequences
When she left the salon where the tattoo was done in Warsaw, Aleksandra started complaining of serious pain in her eyes. The tattoo artist then assured her that everything was normal, and advised to take painkillers. But a short time later, the influencer began to lose the use of her eyes, first fully losing sight in the right side, then in the left side, over time.
The tattoo artist likely faces three years in prison
Now the tattoo artist who performed the procedure faces three years in prison for crippling Aleksandra with skin ink that should've never come in contact with her eyes, according to The Daily Mail. He pleaded not guilty at his trial.
For her part, Aleksandra does not let herself get down. She does lament:
Unfortunately, doctors are not very optimistic about the future. The damage is too deep, I am afraid of going completely blind. But I'm not going to lock myself in my basement and get depressed. Such is life.
