In order to celebrate his 62nd birthday right, Chris Ferry's children put up a huge roadside billboard with the words "Wish My Dad A Happy Birthday" and their father's phone number.

The BBC shared this very unusual story, reporting that Chris Ferry's children had a hard time finding a great gift for their father because of the distance between them. In order to fix this problem, they came up with the perfect surprise: renting a $ 2,000 billboard to wish their father a happy birthday, and asking travellers passing by the highway sign near Atlantic City to call him and give him birthday wishes.
The huge sign had their father's head and phone number on it. As a result, Chris Ferry received more than 15,000 calls for his birthday! He was very surprised when he received the first call from a stranger: 'How do you know it's my birthday?' he asked, to which the stranger replied, 'I saw it on the sign!'
'I see my messages go from 10 to 20 to 600 in the space of a few minutes,' the father told BBC. He will forever remember the day he turned 62!
