After a divorce, the victim, who we will call Jack for the rest of this article, went back to live with his parents. A few months after returning, and following a domestic incident that we don’t know much about, Jack’s parents are said to have expressly asked him to leave the family home.

After moving out to Indiana in 2017, Jack learned that his parents had rid themselves of most of his personal belongings. Amongst the young man’s possessions there were several pornographic films as well as a collection of sex toys, with a value amounting to more than £25,000.
He was furious and he wanted an explanation: “If you had a problem with my possessions, you should have said it at the time and I would have gone elsewhere.” The victim’s father response? “I would have done the same thing if I had found a kilogram of crack. I hope you’ll understand one day”. Perfect.
