When you're more active you feel more attractive
This is in any case what Julien Lavault, the president of FizzUp, asserts. The app surveyed 2,500 people between the ages of 20 and 59, and 4 out of 5 people feel more attractive just because they are staying active. In addition, 3 out of 5 women claim to be more daring sexually because they are physically active, and that's not all since 71% of men surveyed feel they perform better in bed due to the same reason! In short, being physically active and having a healthy sex life go hand in hand! You may be interested to know that it even increases the duration of your sexual relations by 15%.
Physical activity could also help with sexual dysfunction
Another study published in the Journal of Education and Health Promotion also found that physical fitness also has some medical benefits when it comes to sex. The research indicated that those who were considered obese tended to experience an increase in sexual dysfunction. The study showed that men with a higher BMI had a 30% higher risk of erectile dysfunction, while over half of obese men reported experiencing difficulties with sexual performance. Women on the other hand aren't let off the hook in this area either as the study reported that 40% of obese women claimed to not enjoy sex at all. Another study also came to the same conclusion. Published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the study found that cardiovascular exercise can help remedy this situation.
