After 25 years of marriage, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie Bezos announced their separation in January. Once the divorce process is completed, MacKenzie will become the third richest woman in the world, receiving a staggering billion dollars. She will leave her husband 75% of the shares they owned while married, as well as all of the voting rights on all of their shares.

The richest man in the world later commented on his Twitter account: "I'm grateful to my friends and family, for supporting and loving me, MacKenzie more than anyone else. I'm grateful for her support and kindness throughout this process, she has been a wonderful partner and mother. She is resourceful, brilliant and loving, and I know that I will always learn from her ".
MacKenzie Bezos did the same on her social network accounts: "I am grateful to have been able to finish this process of ending my marriage with Jeff, and I am happy to give him all my shares at the Washington Post and Blue Origin, as well as 75% of our Amazon shares."
