Bad weather conditions
Indeed, heavy rains and strong winds had hit the country, creating deplorable conditions for plane landings. People who are even the tiniest amount afraid of flying or a little turbulence would not have appreciated this flight…
The consequences of these bad weather conditions: the 24-metre-high Airbus had to land despite avery strong side wind and a slippery runway.
Safe landing
In the video, we can see the device deviate from the track because of the power of the winds, before finally managing to steady itself at an angle. When we hear the wind on the footage, we imagine that the passengers have certainly applauded the captain of the plane when he finally landed in one piece!
This landing that the pilot achieved perfectly despite particularly difficult conditions brings to mind the footage of the chaotic landing of an Airbus in Birmingham. Still fancy that holiday abroad?
