Known on the internet for her videos giving makeup advice to fans who suffer, like her, from severe acne, Cassandra Bankson is now being talked about for a completely different reason.

At the age of 22, Cassandra was told she had only one kidney but two vaginas. This news came to her quite by accident, after she had made a doctor's appointment for lower back pain.
It was through an ultrasound that her doctor discovered that she had only one kidney, which was larger than normal. The ultrasound also revealed that although she has only one vaginal opening, she does have two fully functioning uteruses that are stuck together.
This discovery explains many of her symptoms, like the fact that she had always had very irregular periods, which could sometimes last for more than twenty days, and cramps so painful that she was unable to leave her bed.
Stories such as these are not unheard of and it's amazing what people can find out about their own bodies later in life. Much like the 75-year-old woman who went into labour 46-years after she should have given birth.
