The driver, Randy Lee Cooper of Portland took officers on a pursuit that lasted several blocks until he eventually stopped by crashing into another car near an intersection.
In a strange twist of fate, Randy Lee happened to crash into another car that had been reported stolen just three weeks earlier.
The driver of that vehicle, Kristin Nicole Begue was also found to be under the influence and was subsequently arrested along with Cooper.
Cooper faces charges for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude police, assault and reckless driving.
