But one confirmed campmate, Capital FM DJ Roman Kemp, has revealed that his biggest fear is not spiders, snakes or rats. It’s not heights, small spaces, open water or even the dark. Nope, 26-year-old Roman has admitted that he’s petrified of something that’s probably in your bathroom cupboard!
Roman - whose dad is Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp – revealed all about his rather bizarre phobia in his pre-jungle interview: ‘Some of the fears I have got are odd. I have got a strange fear of cotton wool. Why am I scared? It's the texture and sound of it. I can't even talk about it without getting scared and I definitely can't touch it!’
What’s the betting the I’m A Celeb producers will find a way to work cotton wool into any Bushtucker Trials or Dingo Dollar Challenges Roman has to do!? However, whilst cotton wool will get Roman Kemp cowering in a corner, he’s not the only one of his campmates with an unexpected fear.
The reality TV star and former Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner has revealed that her biggest fear about going into the jungle is other people. She said: ‘Dealing with other people is by far the hardest thing. It’s much more difficult than dealing with the most poisonous snakes in the world.
