To find out what happens when you freeze smartphones in Coca-Cola, this surfer then decided to submit both smartphones, an iPhone 6S Plus and a Samsung GalaxyS7Edge, to this dreadful test by freezing them in the fizzy drink for 10 hours. Both iPhone and Android phones have waterproof and water resistant designs built into them. They can be covered in water and not die, but being frozen in soda is a whole other matter.
At first, being doused with Coca-Cola shouldn't make much of a difference, because it is merely a liquid like water. It is the freezing process that reallyputs the phones to the test. This internet user then poured hot water onto the phones to get them out of the ice, which is another test of endurance in itself.
