The message is meant to be clear. In this official statement with a very aggressive tone, the sister of the North Korean leader offers 'advice to the new administration of the United States that is struggling to spread the smell of gunpowder on our land.' This is the first time that the nuclear-armed North Korea has targeted—without naming anyone, however—the new American president in almost four months.
If you want to sleep easy for the coming four years (Joe Biden's tenure), [you] had better refrain from causing a stink at [your] first step.
Nearly 30,000 US military personnel in South Korea
Currently, no less than 28,500 American soldiers are stationed in South Korea, in order to protect Seoul from a hypothetical attack from the north. The two countries, military allied, began last week digital simulations of military exercises, experienced as a preparation for an invasion by Pyongyang.
