A surprising fight
Lying flat and camouflaged by the savannah grass, the lions waited quietly for their prey to approach. Once they were a few feet away, they started their assault. It was a fight that promised to be interesting since these two members of the very selective ‘Big Five’ club are powerful rivals. Especially since this is not the first time we are witnessing a fight between these big African animals. But the group of buffaloes then began to flee at full speed, crossing the road and smashing into a tourist vehicle that was in the way. Fortunately, according to the person filming the video, the passengers escaped unscathed. A misadventure that reminds us why it is so important to maintain a certain safe distance from wild animals.
Kruger, a park like no other
Kruger National Park is the largest animal reserve in South Africa. It stretches over 7,300 square miles and is located in northeastern South Africa in the eastern Transvaal. Unfortunately its natural riches and its extraordinary fauna are the object of many desires, especially those of poachers who do not hesitate to attack the animals. But sometimes the tables are turned and the animals dispense of their own justice when humans have failed to protect them.
