This footage and this story are further proof that nature is capable of being the best... as well as the worst. Off the coast of Japan, fishermen pulled a massive, deceased shark out of the sea. Between its rows of sharp teeth was also a gigantic sea turtle.

Obviously, not everything went as planned for this two-ton female great white shark. According to the fishermen, the animal actually tried to eat the turtle, which got stuck in its jaws. Unable to dislodge it, the shark then choked.

David vs. Goliath
The footage was published on social network sites by Greg Valla, a member of the crew. On his Facebook account, the internet user retraces the story of this unusual discovery: the animal had in fact appeared several days earlier on their radars.
But since great white sharks do not disrupt commercial fishing and flee from vessels, fishermen do not pay much attention to them. It was only when the dead animal started drifting towards their nets that they noticed something was wrong.
In the ocean, the great white shark is one of the largest predatory fish in the world. This species is one of the few to be responsible for attacks against humans, the vast majority of which are non-lethal. But in this case, it seems the beast was struck down by an animal much smaller than itself.
