Alex Higley, a Californian from Encinitas, captured a beautiful scene during a flight with his new drone. Shared on his YouTube channel on 5 May 2021, his video shows a meeting between great white sharks and dolphins.

‘I knew that today would be the day I would see a shark’
As reported by CBS News 8, the scene took place at Torrey Pines in San Diego, California, USA. Alex was about to fly his drone for the third time. He was still hesitant in his manoeuvres and was still figuring out how to use his new acquisition. But as he says in the video’s description:
For some reason, I knew that today would be the day I would see a shark.
Whether he truly had a premonition or not, Alex was in for a fun session. He was flying over the ocean when he suddenly saw a great white shark. A second one then appeared. The novice was clearly already having a good time, especially for a third flight, with some nice footage being recorded. But he had more surprises in store…
Dolphins meeting the sharks
After several battery changes, he then saw a third shark. The show ended with an incredible encounter:
I noticed there were two dolphins, and they passed right in front of one of the sharks. I was a bit worried, waiting to see what would happen.
But it was quite interesting to see that the sharks didn't react much to the dolphins passing by.
