A flying killer crocodile
Named after Osama Bin Laden himself for having killed a staggering amount of people over the course of its lifetime, the croc is said to be 75 years old—that's almost one victim per every year of its life. Victims of the large reptile include both children and adults, but the former are said to have been more vulnerable as they were easier prey for Osama to catch. The croc would reportedly feed on them while they would be collecting water at the shores of the lake.
In some cases, the crocodile has even been said to leap out of the water and into boats to drag people off to eat. In one such instance, a man named Paul Kyewalyanga saw his own brother fall victim to the massive croc while the duo was on a fishing trip. Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, Kyewalyanga recounted:
Osama just emerged from the water vertically and flopped into the boat. The back of the boat where I was sitting was submerged. Peter was clutching the side screaming. They fought for about five minutes until I heard a tearing sound.
Before adding:
Peter shouted: 'He's broken my leg.' Then he let go and was dragged into the lake. A few days later we found his head and his arm.
Its skin will be used to make handbags
As a result of the string of lethal attacks, the crocodile was eventually captured but not without the effort of about 50 local men and wildlife officials. Although many requested for the animal to be put down, it was later given to the owners of Ugandan Crocs for their breeding program—a breeding farm for sale into the luxury handbag trade.
